OVERVIEW 

The Rutgers Director’s Training Program for Laboratory Animal Facilities is a comprehensive course designed to equip current and aspiring directors with the critical knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage animal research programs. Hosted by Rutgers University, the program covers a wide range of topics including regulatory compliance, financial and personnel management, facility operations, ethical considerations, and strategic leadership in biomedical research environments. Through expert-led lectures, interactive discussions, and practical case studies, participants gain valuable insights into the challenges and responsibilities of overseeing laboratory animal care programs, making it an essential resource for those seeking to advance their careers in lab animal science administration.
